Thank you so much for the shout out, Kathryn! I loved everything about this article (and you know how I struggle with winter!).
Three things that made me smile so far today: my kid can move furniture now (also to my despair haha), I felt the warmth of a sunbeam on my face, a delicious stringy piece of fresh ginger in my morning chai
Thank you for recommending my piece Kathryn, I’m so glad it resonated (although I don’t want us to feel invisible but am glad we can talk about it!)
I can really relate to the idea that parenting is a dormant phase in itself, esp as primary carer of the kids until one goes to school, as I describe myself a reluctant stay at home mum, I feel very much in this inbetween phase. Things are bubbling and I’m being forced to be slow whilst we await for an affordable childcare situation. 🙌🏻 but when we awake again, it’s going to be good, I hope!
I love plants as metaphors for our own growth. Nature is so wise 🌱
Absolutely!

Oh I love it! And yes the furniture, that's a mixed bag.
